TanRo is a serious operation. Established in 2020 on 45+ years of construction and civil engineering experience, they now run with £75m turnover, a team of 50+ skilled professionals, and 75% repeat business. Their work spans temperature-controlled facilities, industrial refurbishment, multibuild, commercial and civils and infrastructure, with live projects for clients including Aston Villa Football Club, DPD and Fairham Business Park. This is national contracting at scale, not a regional firm dressing up for bigger jobs.
The brief was to build a site that reflects the size of the business:
- “Delivery Focused Main Contracting” from the first screen. The positioning matches how TanRo actually operates: design and build, technical support, value engineering, and delivery at volume.
- Sectors as the main navigation story. Temperature-controlled facilities, industrial, multibuild, commercial, civils and infrastructure. Each sector gets its own page, because their clients arrive with very different project profiles and need to see relevant capability straight away.
- Scale on the homepage. Turnover, repeat business, team size and project value are part of how main contractors are assessed. The stats sit where procurement and development teams expect them.
- A projects gallery with recognisable names. Aston Villa, DPD Bromley, Gainsborough, Fairham Business Park. The kind of work that tells a story before anyone reads a case study.
- About, ESG and News for the longer conversations: tenders, partnerships, recruitment, and corporate credibility.
- Fast, lightweight build. No bloated WordPress theme, no clunky page builder. A site this size should still load quickly on a laptop in a site office or a phone between meetings.
TanRo did not need a website that made them look bigger than they are. They needed one that finally looked like the company they already are.
