A new website for A.S Painting Contractors Group, the 5-star rated commercial and domestic painting team based in Leicester. Built to handle a 60/40 split between factory work and family homes without compromising either side.

Another one out. We’ve just launched a new website for A.S Painting Contractors, the 5-star rated painting and decorating team based in Leicester, covering Leicestershire end-to-end (and most of the East Midlands for commercial contracts).

A.S Painting is a proper local outfit. Established 2010, 25+ years experience between them, 4.9 stars across 59 Google reviews, Three Best Rated in Leicester. The interesting thing about the brief was their split: roughly 60% of the diary is commercial (factories, offices, retail fit-outs, schools, warehouses) and 40% is domestic (whole-house refreshes, exteriors, kitchens, joinery). Two very different audiences, one website, and you can’t half-bake either side without losing work.

So the site is built around that decision:

  • One clear fork above the fold. “Commercial work” and “Domestic work” sit as two equal CTAs, so a factory manager and a homeowner both feel like the site is for them within five seconds of landing.
  • Two parallel service stories. Commercial gets sectors (manufacturing, offices, retail, schools), RAMS, COSHH, PPE, out-of-hours work, the lot. Domestic gets whole-house, exteriors, hand-painted kitchens, joinery, and “free in-home quote with no pressure.” Same brand, two voices.
  • Recent work with a chip filter so visitors can flip between “show me factory and retail jobs” or “show me kitchens and exteriors” without trawling.
  • A proper 5-step process page. Same flow whether it’s a £600 hallway or a £60k factory repaint, which is exactly the kind of reassurance both audiences are looking for.
  • Honest “Quick answers.” They don’t plaster, they don’t hang wallpaper. Saying it on the homepage saves everyone (especially Ash) from rubbish enquiries.
  • Fast, lightweight build. No bloated WordPress theme, no clunky page builder. Loads quickly on a phone on a building site, on a laptop at a kitchen table, and is easy for the A.S team to keep adding new projects to as the diary fills up.

If you run a business that genuinely serves two different markets and your current site picks one and ignores the other, this is what a proper split looks like. Equal weight, clear paths, no compromise on either side.
