The areas I look at explained:

Visual Aesthetics
Visual aesthetics refer to the overall look and feel of a website, encompassing elements such as colour schemes, typography, imagery, and layout. A visually appealing website attracts visitors, creates a positive first impression, and encourages users to stay and explore further. Good design should reflect the brand’s identity and resonate with the target audience, ensuring that the site is both engaging and professional.

Call to Action (CTA)
A Call to Action (CTA) is a prompt on a website that encourages users to take a specific action, such as signing up for a newsletter, making a purchase, or contacting the company. Effective CTAs are clear, compelling, and strategically placed to guide users through the site and towards conversion goals. They should stand out visually, using contrasting colours and persuasive language to drive user engagement.

Usability
Usability refers to how easy and intuitive it is for users to navigate and interact with a website. A usable site ensures that visitors can find the information they need quickly and perform tasks without frustration. This involves a logical layout, intuitive navigation, fast load times, and accessibility for all users, including those with disabilities. Good usability enhances the overall user experience and keeps visitors coming back.

SEO
SEO, or Search Engine Optimisation, is the practice of enhancing a website to rank higher in search engine results. This involves optimising content, meta tags, keywords, and site structure to improve visibility and attract organic traffic. Effective SEO ensures that a website is easily discoverable by search engines and potential customers, leading to increased site traffic and better online presence.

Content
Content is the information and media presented on a website, including text, images, videos, and other multimedia. High-quality, relevant, and engaging content is essential for attracting and retaining visitors, conveying the brand’s message, and providing value to users. Well-crafted content supports SEO efforts, builds credibility, and encourages user interaction and sharing, ultimately driving conversions and business success.

Does it look loved?
A website that looks loved reflects care and attention to detail, showcasing a commitment to quality and user satisfaction. This involves regular updates, well-maintained features, and a cohesive design that feels thoughtfully curated. A site that looks loved exudes professionalism and reliability, creating trust with users and demonstrating that the business values its online presence and customer experience.
