We use a monitoring system to track changes and updates made to the website. If our system detects changes that were not authorised or approved by us, and those changes cause issues, the warranty will be void.
If you choose to host your website independently, please be aware that we won’t be able to provide a warranty. This is primarily because we can’t manage critical aspects like updates and security, which are essential for a stable WordPress site. WordPress sites encounter issues mainly due to unchecked plugin updates (without proper staging) and inadequate hosting security. Low-cost hosting options increase vulnerability to attacks, which is beyond our control. For full warranty coverage, your website must be hosted on dotwall’s hosting and maintenance care plan, ensuring secure updates, backups, and proactive management.
The warranty covers only issues directly related to dotwall Web Design’s development and does not include any third-party services, hosting providers, or additional functionality not implemented by us. Under no circumstances does the warranty cover damages caused by the client, third-party interventions, or issues unrelated to the original build.
After the two-year period, you can purchase additional maintenance plans or extended warranty coverage at an additional cost to continue receiving support and updates. By agreeing to these terms, you acknowledge that the warranty is conditional on the website being maintained by us or a qualified professional and agree not to make unauthorised changes that could affect the site’s functionality.
