By purchasing ad hoc design or development time from dotwall Web Design, you agree to the following terms. These apply to any current and future purchases of one-hour or multi-hour blocks of support time.
All ad hoc time is scheduled around existing client work and overall studio availability. Purchasing time does not guarantee same-day turnaround. We’ll always aim to schedule you in promptly and keep you in the loop as things progress.
Time is tracked and allocated in 5-minute blocks. Even if a task only takes two minutes, we’ll allocate a full 5-minute slot. Why? Switching between tasks, such as responding to a quick revision or update, pulls us out of other work. This small buffer ensures we’ve allowed proper space to deliver with focus and care.
You’ll have access to a transparent time-tracking spreadsheet, and every task is screen recorded so you can see exactly how your time is being used.
To help reduce the number of times we need to revisit a task, we encourage you to include as much detail as possible in your initial request. This helps us get it right first time and make the most efficient use of your purchased time.
Unless agreed in advance, ad hoc hours are treated as flexible support time. If your request is deadline-driven, please discuss it with us before purchasing so we can confirm availability and delivery.
If you’re after a structured approach — with work beginning on a set date and continuing through to launch — ad hoc time may not be the best fit. In that case, we’d be happy to provide a tailored, project-based quote instead.
These terms apply to any ad hoc time purchased now or in the future. Timeframes and delivery will always be agreed based on the studio’s schedule at the time of booking.
£50/hour — Discounted rate for clients on an active dotwall support plan
£65/hour — Standard support time for all other clients
All prices are subject to VAT
Ad hoc time covers general design, development, and small updates. It doesn’t include strategic consultancy, branding, SEO audits or full-scale planning unless agreed in advance. If your request doesn’t fall within standard ad hoc support, we’ll always let you know before starting.
